Hey there, just got back from Shasta on September 30 and here's my take on the fishing scene. Many fishermen have found success using Soft plastics, which seems to be the preferred choice for Carp currently. Camaraderie's the catch of the day, right next to these giant Carp! The strategic use of various baits paid off, with a diverse haul that highlighted the richness of Shasta's waters. The calm waters of Shasta were deceiving, but the fish were plentiful. Till our lines cross again, keep the bait jumping!
